Daily Beauty Essentials + Stowaway Giveaway

If you have been following A Lily Love Affair recently, you know I have started to share more and more details regarding my daily beauty routine.  

If you recently read about my experience with FOREO and GRANDE Lash, you know I rarely, if ever, wear any makeup on my face with the exception of mascara and lipstick.  I rarely travel without either.  Ever.  

In response to these post, I received a number of great emails and direct messages on Instagram (thank you! - and feel free to keep them coming!) with follow-up questions regarding how I keep my skin clear and which lip color choices and mascara I do use.  Today, I am happy to share with you one of the most fantastic cosmetic lines, Stowaway Cosmetics, which I do not leave the house without. Also, ever.  

What's makes Stowaway so great? And I mean, great! 

Stowaway is a cosmetic brand built on the philosophy that your makeup should be designed to be as versatile and on-the-go as you are.  If you're anything like me, you often invest in your makeup essentials to find yourself later throwing them out because they have expired.  When was the last time you looked at your favorite mascaras expiration date?  Probably not recently.  The fact of the matter is, we are often times using our products well beyond their healthy term of use. 

Similarly, while I do not carry a makeup bag full of cosmetics every day, you will find that every nook and cranny of my life contains my two essentials - again, mascara and lipstick - most likely in a bold shade of red.  

But, what I have always found really difficult is the ability and convenience of fitting an entire tube of lip color, along with other essentials, into my pocket when I am running around, or out for dinner or, in a lot of cases, even fitting into a small clutch purse for a night on the town.

Let start with the Creme Lipstick.  This product comes in four incredible shades, all of which are great for all skin tones, but I have to say my favorite color is Scarlet red photographed above.  Holy hell, y'all, talk about a killer color which lasts long and leaves your lips feeling extra soft and creamy (is that weird, creamy?) Anyways, it's especially great for upcoming holiday festivities and is sure to get you noticed from across the room. 

Next, I am IN. LOVE. with the Cheek & Lip Rouge.  Not only am I a sucker for their versatility - who doesn't love a lip color AND that extra little bit of pick-me-up on their cheeks - in one small, amazing package? SOLD!  In terms of color, I honestly cannot pick a favorite because all are great!  They are each that perfect shade to take you immediately from day to night conveniently.  

Of course, we cannot forget about the mascara.  I have tried a number of mascaras in my quest to find favorites and this one stacks up against my top two choices.  It leaves my lashes looking long and voluminous without clumps.  Did I mention it fits in my pocket conveniently? 

While I, again, rarely wear beauty balm, concealer or eyeliner, this is the season I make the occasional exception.  Not only is my skin more and more pale, with the holidays, I often like to add a little glam with these essentials.  I really loved that the concealer matched my skin color really well while the beauty balm gave me great coverage for a night on the town.
